To protect our residents, Wellington Estates has closed it’s doors to visitors. This has not stopped our resident’s families from finding new ways to connect with their loves. They have found innovative alternatives, that we like to call Window Visits. During these visits, our residents are brought and seated near a window inside the facility, and their loved ones talk to them from the outside.
Families have called and stood outside the windows to converse with their loved one. Some took the creative alternative and printed out messages they hold up to the window to show their loved ones. Others have used our video call services to speak to their loved ones.
All these innovative forms of communication, have really made our residents’ day. You can see the light shine in their eyes when they get to see speak to their families and friends.
